We understand that the recent impact of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has created confusion and uncertainty among travelers and guests of The Glenmore Inn and Convention Centre. We want to share with you what we are doing to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and provide the best guest experience possible.

The health and safety of our staff and values guests is paramount.


Keeping You Safe

We are cleaning and disinfecting all guest rooms, surfaces, sanitizing linens, and strictly follow all Health Canada food safety standards. In addition to our regular rigorous cleaning practices, we’ve implemented the following initiatives.


  • Our cleaning staff has increased sanitization frequency of doorknobs, elevator buttons, public washrooms, reception desk, and other high-traffic areas with hospital-grade cleaner

  • We are providing hand sanitizer to all guests and staff throughout the hotel while reviewing industry hand-washing standards

  • Our culinary team continues to adjust food and beverage service to meet or exceed recommended health standards- thereby we will no longer be offering in buffets, lunch, dinner or Sunday Brunch – BUT WILL be offering menu service.

  • Hotel management is keeping apprised of the developing situation (including monitoring notices from WHO The Alberta Hotel Association, Alberta Health Services and The City of Calgary. and providing regular updates and policy revisions to all staff
